On Sections (explication)

A brief explanation of the various sections of LoC:

prelingering: The main page; new entries will appear here, until they don't anymore, then you'll have to search for them.

lingering: This is where old logs are stored: site update news, etc.

faq: If you have a question, you'll find the answer here. Eventually.

irk: Semi-relevant or hideously funny, (to us at least,) irc conversations.

output: Any actual Content goes here.

development: Anything LoC-related that doesn't fit into the output category. This includes attempts to explain Why and How, and also What and When. Reading through the development entries will give you an insight about solios and xeno and why we are the way we are. If that frightens you (and it should, it frightens us all the time,) then don't touch it.

past tense: Also explained by solios, this is the section where anything that is Relevant and written Before or During goes. You'll notice the rather severe dearth of xeno entries - this is because of a computer malfunction that I'm rather proud of, resulting in the loss of every single bit of During and pre-During writing not on disk or hard copy being totally and irrevocably lost in one swell foop. (More on that elsewhere.)
